A Scrumptious Breakfast Topped Off With a Fresh Peach and Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie




This is a delicious summer treat at breakfast or any time and has been loved by my guests at 
 Bed & Breakfast Inn.





Peach and Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie

Recipe for 4 servings 1 cup each

1 medium ripe peach, chopped
1/2 cup fresh blueberries (organic if possible)
1 1/2 cups frozen vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup lowfat milk
1 tablespoon local honey -wildflower works the best
1/4 cup crushed ice
Save about 12 quality blueberries and gather two mint sprigs for garnish


Place fruit in a blender, then add frozen yogurt, milk and honey. Blend on slower speed until all ingredients are together, about 30 seconds. Then add crushed ice and blend for another 30 seconds just before serving.

Pour blended smoothie into flutes or other dessert type glasses. Top with the leftover blueberries and mint sprigs. Serve with a dessert spoon and straw.
