As my guests waited patiently for their breakfast surprise, I noticed that they looked a little down and dismal. . . sort of like one of the latest "breakfast sandwich" commercials on TV depicting a cloud "not quite up for it." No Wonder! We have had . . . who knows how many . . . days of rain . . .rain. . .and now cold weather. But this group made the best of it! I really enjoyed seeing them trudge through cloudy days to have a fun weekend here in the be-u-t-ful Finger Lakes along Seneca and Keuka Lakes in spite of the weather.
Eggs Benedict and a side of Cathy's Quiche with harvest vegetables were a hit! Believe me, there was a smile on everyone's face. The cloud was lifted and everyone enjoyed!.
I love my guests!!
And I love my son, Chef Nick!

It was most certainly a pleasure to come cook side by side with my mother for the weekend and we were happy to see customers leave with big smiles and full bellys!ReplyDelete
Remember this Nick? I am looking forward to cooking with you again. Perhaps during the busy summer season. How about a BBQ breakfast?Delete
