Sweet first time stay at a Seneca Lake Bed & Breakfast proves to be fun and relaxing at 1922 Starkey House

If you have never stayed at a bed and breakfast establishment
you may not know what to expect as far as how to enjoy and make use of the house for a vacation or business stay.

Staying at a B & B is much different than a hotel. The character of the house and personal attention that you get from the Innkeeper are far better than an average stay elsewhere, and the breakfasts here at 1922 Starkey House add greater value than a simple continental, help yourself, buffet.

Just consider 1922 Starkey House Bed & Breakfast Inn your home base for whatever it is you want to see and do here, this summer, in the gorgeous Finger Lakes Region of central, upstate New York.

Located just north of Watkins Glen and only three miles up the road from Glenora Wine Cellars, we are located right on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. My guests can bicycle the country roads, scoot on over to the Keuka or Cayuga Wine trials, just about 35 minutes away, or taste a little farm fresh vegetables or artisan cheeses.

Everything is easy access with views of the lake as you go! One thing is for sure . . . when you get "home" from your fun excursions, there will be a treat waiting for you in the dining room and a comfortable room with marvelous bath to help you relax from the day.

Here is what Bob and Carrie had to say about their first stay at 1922 Starkey House.

"Thanks so much for having us in your beautiful home. Our room was so nice and comfortable . . . your breakfasts were amazing!"
