Finger Lakes Restaurants Are Going Plum Local! 1922 Starkey House is Proud to Be Part of the Action!

Finger Lakes Restaurant Week is June 18th through 24th and will kick off a ground breaking effort for chefs in the region to introduce visitors to locally produced foods here in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.

1922 Starkey House will give a 10% discount for any two weeknights  made for that week. Go to the reservations page to check for room availability and descriptions to book now. Please mention this promo in the comments section of your reservation to qualify.

All restaurant menus will consist of only local ingredients right down to the herbs and seasonings. Check out the special website link created by Finger Lakes Wine Country to find out all about it and the establishments that will participate.

1922 Starkey House Bed & Breakfast is located along Seneca Lake just three miles north of Glenora Wine Cellars' Veraisons Restaurant.

We will also provide breakfasts made from local, fresh ingredients. Cathy mostly uses local foods as much as possible and will step up to the challenge to create only the best using 100% local finds.

1922 Starkey House will provide breakfasts prepared from
local produce during Finger Lakes Wine Country
Restaurant Week June 18 to 24, 2012

Herbs are right in my own backyard and the eggs I use are from
free-range hens on neighborhood farms. To sweeten things up I use
 honey from local beekeepers.

Hope to see you then to sample some of the best the region has to offer.
