Finger Lakes Wine Country Romantic Getaway: Any Day is Valentine's Day at 1922 Starkey House

No need to have a special holiday to give your honey a squeeze and say "let's take off to the Finger Lakes for a few days."

Although this couple enjoyed their 1st anniversary last September when other guest couples toasted them in the dining room of the Starkey House.

Joe and Lauren, guests at 1922 Starkey House
in Finger Lakes Wine Country.

". . . thank you for being such a fabulous host this weekend. Our stay was lovely and your morning breakfasts were so delicious! It was so nice . . . to have a special toast for us to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. We will always cherish the memories we made here, and friends!"

There are many reasons to vacation here. If nothing else, just to get away together for a peaceful and relaxing time. A time for just the two of you where you will enjoy gorgeous Seneca Lake views,
a room offering you elegant country comfort, and a personal chef to prepare
delicious breakfasts each morning!

You can choose to do nothing but relax on the porches or take a country walk. Or, you can explore and taste all that Finger Lakes Wine Country has to offer, such as the Seneca Lake Wine trail (we are located right on it!) or visit the Corning Museum of Glass or the upcoming Finger Lakes Museum.

Discover the artisan cheese makers and sample some scrumptious delights!
Take in a regional, cultural festival. There is always an event going on!

Bring your bikes and take a tour down country roads and catch the site of waterfalls along the way!

1922 Starkey House is located along the west side of Seneca Lake just twelve minutes north of  Watkins Glen, twenty minutes south of Geneva and just a twenty minute hop to Keuka Lake.
